• The process begins with an inspection of the wood condition.
• If the trim is found to be rotted, our trained mechanics can replace the deteriorated wood as needed to assure a solid base for the new “Trim Capping”.
• Each piece of trim to be capped is then precisely measured.
• Our experienced craftsmen then recreate and custom-form the Vinyl-Coated Aluminum to the desired shape.
• An adhesive is then applied over the wood trim to ensure long-term bonding of the new capping.
• The custom-formed Vinyl-Coated Aluminum is then applied over the wood trim and secured with color coated fasteners
• Where necessary, a high-grade, color matched, exterior multipolymer Quad sealant will be used to seal joints.
